서곶 근린 공원은 인천 서구에 위치한 주민들의 여가 및 휴게공간이다. 인천 서구청은 이곳 축구장에 위치한 관리사무소 전면부에 관람 및 휴식을 위한 그늘 쉼터가 되는 캐노피를 설치하고자 하였다.

ORIGAMI CANOPY 는 면재가 접혀서 만들어내는 입체적 형태를 활용하여 디자인된 5M 길이의 캔틸레버 구조체이다. Cut-Press 첨단 디지털 패브리케이션 복합가공을 통해 특수 가공된 Stainless Steel 패널이 접혀진 형태로 하부공간에 새로운 입체적 패턴으로 빛과 그림자를 만들어낸다. 구조물은 기존 건물 사이의 좁은 틈새에 기존 건물의 구조를 활용하여 지지된다. 캐노피 하부 관람 공간도 개방감을 주는 강화유리 난간으로 교체된다.

Seogot Neighborhood Park is a leisure and resting space for residents located in Seo-gu, Incheon. Seo-gu metropolitan office in Incheon wanted to install a canopy that is a shade shelter for viewing and rest in front of the management office located in the soccer field.

ORIGAMI CANOPY is a 5M long cantilever structure designed using a three-dimensional form created by folding a face sheet. Specially processed stainless steel panel is folded through cut-press compound processing using cutting-edge digital fabricaiton to create light and shadow in new space pattern in the lower space. The structure is supported using the structure of an existing building in the narrow gap between the existing buildings. The viewing area under the canopy is also replaced by tempered glass balustrades that open up.
